About the Studio
Strength of Mind and Body Wellness Studio offers a variety of classes and training to assist you in your journey to overall health and wellness. Our exercise classes and training address endurance, strength, and flexibility providing a comprehensive approach to fitness. Nutrition classes and consulting are available to assist you in your food choices. In addition, Wellness Coaching offers a complementary strategy to enhance and expand the development of individualized fitness, nutrition, weight and stress management, as well as life satisfaction goals.

Teresa McIlroy, RPT
Licensed Physical Therapist, Wellness Coach, Owner of Strength of Mind & Body Wellness and fitness have been life-long interests of Teresa’s. She has focused her interest in exercise, fitness and wellness through extended continuing education for the last 10 years. She has been trained in Wellness Coaching through the WellCoach group. She is IWA certified in weight lifting. She received her degree in Physical Therapy in 1986 from OU Health Sciences Center. She specialized in pediatrics and has served that population for 13 years helping them achieve optimal function through therapeutic exercise, Sensory Integration, and Neuro-developmental Training. Physical therapy focuses on helping people achieve optimal function and fulfillment in life. She hopes to extend that training in assisting her clients to achieve their best self in body, mind, heart and soul. Teresa is a dedicated mother and wife and loves to garden, backpack, read, and keep up with new research on exercise and nutrition. She is active in her home church where she is involved in FriendSpeak. She enjoys short term mission trips. |

Andrea Brown Andrea has been in the fitness field for eight years where she has been a personal trainer and group exercise instructor. She holds certifications in Personal Training, Group Fitness Instructor, Pilates, Pilates Reformer, Boot Camp and Yoga. She also has completed countless hours of continued education requirements introducing her to nutrition, step aerobics, stretching, foam roller, Bosu ball and the like. Andrea has owned Cross Trainers, LLC for the past eight years and most recently Cross Trainers Fitness Studio. At Cross Trainers Fitness Studio Andrea worked one-on-one with clients as a Personal Trainer and Fitness Coach. She taught Yoga classes as well as solo and group sessions on the Pilates Reformer. Andrea’s clients and experience ranges from the novice to the competitive athlete. Prior to opening her fitness business, Andrea Brown was an elementary school teacher earning her Education degree from Oklahoma State University. She was a classroom teacher for 8 years teaching 1st grade, 5th grade and P.E. She has always had a passion for teaching others, no matter what the subject, and wants to teach you how to take your fitness to a new level. |

Cheryl Albro, R.D., C.P.T, G.E.I.
Cheryl Albro graduated from Oklahoma State University with a degree in Nutritional Sciences. She is currently Registered Dietitian in private practice. She offers services such as, nutrition education, weight management, pantry makeovers, and grocery store tours. Cheryl has had a lifelong love of fitness and helping others. In addition to being a dietitian, she is also a Certified Personal Trainer, Group Exercise Instructor, with specialties in Yoga and Pilates Reformer training. Prior to joining Strength of Mind and Body Cheryl worked at Cross Trainers Fitness Studio as a teacher and trainer as well as leading a fitness ministry at her church. |

Ashley Evans Ashley Evans graduated from the University of Arkansas with a Bachelor of Science in Business Administration degree and has worked in the field of Marketing for over 15 years. Over ten years ago, Ashley found a passion for health and fitness while completing rehabilitation after a back surgery. Since then she has been involved in the health and fitness industry including competitive tennis, personal training, group fitness and Pilates.She is an NETA, Certified Pilates Reformer instructor and was with Cross Trainers Fitness Studio for the last three years. |
